Possible menstrual cycle changes after COVID 19 vaccination a questionnaire-based study among vaccinated women

On January 21 2021, India granted emergency use authorization to Covishield (non-replicating adenovirus vaccine) and Covaxin (viral inactivating vaccination). Reports till 02 Jan 2023 suggest a cumulative total of 2,20,10,77,192 vaccination doses administered among the Indian Population. A sore arm, fever, myalgia are most common side effects covid-19 immunization, according UK's Medicines Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency (MHRA). COVID-19 has not been shown negatively affect fertility in any clinical trials. However, patients who have encountered alterations their menstrual cycle bleeding patterns quickly after increasingly approaching primary care providers reproductive health professionals Therefore, our study aims collecting data from pre-menopausal, vaccinated women regarding post Vaccination through self-administered pre-validated Questionnaire. Our implies that almost 77.9% participants did observe changes while 23.1% reported abnormal menstruation cycles which included delayed cycles, early less than normal change blood color. study’s conclusion highlights need for larger studies identify possibility relationship exist between COVID 19 Menstrual cycle.
